PROFESSIONAL ACADEMIES

QUALIFICATIONS

The Maharishi Green Industries Academy offers two nationally recognised CATHSSETA qualifications in Nature Conservation, and is working to develop further qualifications.

The National Certificates offered are:

• NQF2 – Nature Conservation Resource Guardianship (Ezemvelo), ID 59389 - accreditation by CATHSSETA (Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport SETA)
• NQF 4 – Nature Conservation Resource Guardianship Terrestrial (Ezemvelo), ID 63109 - accreditation by CATHSSETA
• FGASA related exams for the guiding components
• Specified entry exams required to join organisations such as SANParks

PRE-REQUISITES

Students wishing to enter into the Green Industries Academy will be required to first complete the foundation programme in Johannesburg or Durban
