The National Certificate: Vocational is an alternative option and equivalent to a Matric Certificate. MII is registered by the Department of Higher Education and Training to run the NCV in Information Technology and Computer Science (ITC). Students will gain practical skills and knowledge in ITC which will lead to a strong career pathway in ITC. Digital skills are a foundation key to employability and economic growth.
The National Certificate: Vocational (NCV) is a high-standard, skills-focused qualification that runs parallel to the National Senior Certificate (NSC). Instead of Grades 10, 11 and 12, learners complete NCV Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4, and receive an accredited certificate from Umalusi after completing each level. If you know that you are passionate about computers, software and apps, the internet, networks, internet of things, robotics and automation and the exciting world of the 4th Industrial Revolution, this could be the matric programme for you.
