Thami Ngubeni is a Non-Executive Trustee of the Maharishi Education for Invincibility Trust (MEIT) and the Imvula Education Empowerment Fund, a 100% black-women owned, broad-based black-economic empowerment trust supporting students through Maharishi Invincibility Institute. Thami is one of the most successful media personalities in South Africa. She serves on several boards, including the Maharishi Invincibility Institute, and has founded her own foundation, the Thami Ngubeni Foundation. Thami was born and raised in Katlehong, Gauteng, and is passionate about social upliftment and has done extensive charitable work.
