Jason Mordecai is a highly experienced security professional. Jason helped build 7Arrows Security, a leading security company in Johannesburg, to 1,200 staff as Managing Director of the company. He began his career at 7Arrows Security, as one of 70 tactical security officers and, over the course of 10 years, rose to the position of Managing Director. In this role, he oversaw security services spanning the entire city of Johannesburg.

Jason entered the world of martial arts at the age of nine and represented South Africa at the World TaeKwonDo championships in 1995. In later years, he shifted his focus to situational awareness and functional martial arts, expanding his skills to include trauma counselling, and GIS. After earning diplomas in training and security management, he entered the security industry in 2000. Jason has worked as a training manager, course designer, tactical officer, and senior manager. During his career, he launched high-value security projects, trained community members and submitted numerous high-quality risk assessments. In 2016, he created the Security Adviser blog and published over 40 articles focusing on situational awareness and personal defence. In 2019, he was appointed as Operations Director of the SMS Security Group, running operations in the crime-ridden rural plots of Muldersdrift.

In May 2024, he was appointed as head of the Security Mastery Academy at the Maharishi Invincibility Institute.
