Sports and Culture
Friday afternoons are the key time for celebration of knowledge through performing arts, and for sports and other extra-curricular activities. Students also engage in these fun activities after the completion of the daily academic programme at 4pm.
All students are encouraged to create and sustain clubs and societies to promote the quality of life on campus.

Students engage daily in theatre, poetry, hip hop, kwaito, and a variety of African art forms.
The Maharishi Institute Choir practices daily and allows students to express beauty through music, and to develop their voices as musical instruments. In addition, the students are encouraged to enter local, regional, and national competitions.
