Sports and Culture
The Maharishi Institute student support centre is about personal growth and fun! Friday afternoons are the key time for celebration of knowledge through performing arts, and for sports and other extra-curricular activities. These fun activities also take place daily at specified times.
All students are encouraged to create and sustain clubs and societies to promote their quality of life and teamwork.
Express yourself...
Students engage daily in theatre, poetry, hip hop, kwaito, and a variety of African art forms.
The Maharishi Institute Choir practices daily and allows students to express beauty through music, and to develop their voices as musical instruments. In addition, the students are encouraged to enter local, regional, and national competitions.
