Students gain skills-based certificates through partner organisations who are registered with relevant SETA's. Skills programmes include Call Centre training through the Monyetla programme of the dti (level 2 on the NQF offered by training company, iFundi), IT examinations through Microsoft, learning skills through Thinking Skills, life skills through The Performance Hub (previously known as CIDAlearning), and other accredited learning partners for specific short-courses.

These skills courses have several purposes, which include bridging and remediation: students study English and mathematics programmes designed by Mediaworks, an accredited provider, as well as have intensive introduction to computer skills through Microsoft Academy.
