Leadership Training for a New Generation of Managers for South Africa
Maharishi University of Management is pleased to offer South African students the opportunity to earn an American MBA degree without the costs of leaving their home country. Our goal is to raise the creativity of business management in Africa to keep pace with the most advanced nations of our world family.
The part-time Masters Degree in Business Administration program is offered by Maharishi University of Management in the United States to students in South Africa through distance education. Students get to enjoy an internet-based learning program, supported online with video conferencing from top professors from the United States, and guest lecturers in Europe and Asia. Maharishi Institute in South Africa is a recognized Maharishi University of Management Study Center and it provides expert in-classroom tutors for students who choose to have this additional study-support. The program consists of two to four years of course work taken at the half-time speed of 30 credits per year, or a maximum of 60 credits. Each four-credit course meets in four sessions per week for eight weeks.

Maharishi University of Management is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission as well as accredited by the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education, and is recognized in South Africa by SAQA, the South African Qualifications Authority.

Local Study Centres provide site-based distance education classes with outstanding tutorial support. Study-Centre syndicate-based group work
To assist students studying these distance education degrees, MUM has co-ordinated learning sites, where distance students can gather together to support each other. Throughout the PGDBA and MBA, a key feature of the study centre activity will be working on group exercises in syndicates of 5-8 students.
